Fabulous things began to take place the moment I arrived home in Eugene. I asked the Universe for a bakery and the next day one fell into my lap. I get to spend my days with cupcakes. Sometimes a little change in scenery makes all the difference in the world. I am living surrounded by mountains and trees. Everything is covered in moss of the most beautiful colors of green. I found the end of the rainbow and all that was there were sheep. Today in the mail I received a goat and a gnome. I have already met some really swell folks here. Everything is beautiful. It looks like it will be a happy new decade. I wish the same for you.

Welcome to Portland

I recently made the big move to Portland to be closer to my friends and family. Before I even found a job, I found a place to hang my art. (thanks Tanya and Mikey) For the month of September, if you are lucky enough to be in Portland, you can see 5 of my paintings in a little show I am calling “From the Attic to the Basement”

Unfortunately due to the move and searching for a job I have been on a bit of creative hiatus. Soon I will have some space where I can work on some new projects. I am thinking about smaller works that more then likely will have some painting elements along with sewing and other not so messy mediums. Stay tuned.

Welcome to my new website. Finally after many months of procrastinating and computer trouble here it is. Please let me know what you think. Right now you can see some of my paintings up close and personal at Method Hair in Austin, TX. They are there until the end of the month. Please attend a closing reception on July 31st from 7-9pm.

i have been very busy in my studio and have not done much with my site. this just means that there will be more for me to put up when i eventually do. i have been working more on three dimensional pieces and less on painting. i recently bought some power tools and any day now a sewing machine will magically appear at my door thanks to the best momma in the world. happiest holidays to you whichever you choose to celebrate.
